Here i am using the library computer again.. Instead of illegal downloading, i am diligently doing online economics practice question. So why am i call it online practice? remember when i said i bought the expensive textbook? Well apparently an online study program is also included in my purchase and i got access to quizzes for each chapter, in addition the system will show my weaknesses in each chapter judging from my marks for quiz and set up a study plan. Canggih kan? And speaking about what am i doing at this hour at the library, not to worry because my hostel is just 5 minutes away from the library and i am walking with my friend. Plus, Canberra is nothing but a dead town at night!

My exam starts next week, then i will be having my 2 weeks break. Gotta find a part-time job after this coz i am starting to feel the burden of the rent!

Wei Ryu recently very naughty, she likes to open the kitchen's drawer and throw out everything that she can reach. Not only kitchen, should be everything in the house. :(

Her two upper gum teeth are very funny, like her father's one lo, got 'lubang' between 2 teeth...
One more thing is she will bite everything she get, she swallowed a small piece of plastic 2 days ago... So headache !!!

weekly update

Here i am again in the library using the superduperfast internet connection doing something i am not suppose to do with all the assignments accumulating without feeling guilty. I am now occupying a comfortable seat at a corner of the 4th floor Chifley Library, illegally downloading TVB drama and i am now going to write something about my recent life.

So after get back from Sydney lectures and tutorials have been using most of my time ( not really that much, just 14 hours/week ), i can't seem to get my ass stick to the chair so i went to the hot air balloon festival on Friday. Actually the big day was at Monday where there were many balloons in front of the Parliament House. The day i went there it was onli 3 in total. What a waste of time as we woke up at 5.30am just to see it. So after a couple of hours standing there and watching the balloon getting inflated ( the balloon didn't even flying! ), we went back and me, of course continued to sleep. When i woke up 3 hours later, i already missed my Stat lecture.

This incident has inspired me actually. For your information all our lectures are being recorded and we can easily access to the lecture recording through online teaching tool. Which means, i don't actually have to attend the boring lectures as i usually doze off after 10 minutes. However, being a scholar and a discipline student ( kononnya ) i will not do that for the sake of my study. The lecture recording actually serve as a record where i can listen it over again when i don't undrstand something. See, i am so rajin.

Next couple of week i will be kinda busy as 2 assignment will due. So i won't blog so often. You guys don't be lazy ok i still want to hear from you as the telephone bill is really expensive.

p/s: I will be attending a picnic held by Malaysian Student Association this Saturday. And there will be a skyfire show at night, which is like fireworks. So check out my facebook on Sunday!

Sydney

I am supppose to tell u guys about my Sydney trip but i am too lazy and busy right now.

Just a quick update :
Basically Sydney is a beautiful city. Just like most of the city in the world it has magnificient buildings with great architecture. Proceed to my facebook to see my pictures k?

One place that i recommend would be the Darling Harbour. It is a perfect place for a family or friends to spend a relaxing afternoon, feeling the breeze while enjoying the performance from the street performer. Not far from the Darling Harbour is the China Town, where you can find every possible things you can think of. However the price is not cheap if you consider the conversion thinggy. So just enjoy a walk and take some picture!

The Mardi Gras Festival! That's the whole point i went to Sydney! Basiccally it was interesting. Anyway you won't get the chance to see a whole bunch of gay and lesbian parading everday will you? I dun exactly know the whole point of this event as from what i saw is that people just wanna find chances to celebrate and drink and get drunk. However i think by attending the event it is a way to show show support to gay and lesbian so that they won't get discriminated. Strange huh anything can happen under the sun.

Now she realise how useful it is to have a external harddisk..

The weather is fine, not too hot and not too cold. Maybe i am used to it already. Lecture is just as boring as usual, having to repeat what i learned in SAM. Miceoeconomics, the supply and demand which i am too familiar with it; Accounting, where i have to learn from the scratch again about how to do an income statement and balance sheet; Statistics, where the 1000 pages textbook is completely useless and it all depends on a software called minitub; and finally the challenging Finance where i haven't learn it before. It's about financial market, capital market, interest rate, shares, securities, bonds, etc..

As i am given 1GB of internet usage daily, i'll not let it wasted. Well i am just applying the economic concept of fully utilisation. So whenever i am free, such as Thursday and Friday where i have only one lecture each day, i'll download series and movies from the superfast internet. What can i do except watching drama for the weekend in Canberra??

Btw i am planning to go to Sydney sometimes at April. There is Good Friday holiday and i can travel by bus with just $15. My friend will bring me to the famous Bondi beach! Dunno where is it? Google it!

It also depends on the size of the hard disk. Portable type will be more expensive, those bulky one, like mine, hehe, more cheaper lo...

Hey ning, just marinate it with soy sauce one day before, then when you wanna eat, put inside the oven and bake la... easy and the taste also not bad... can also put some pepper and ginger...

When in US last time, i did bought chicken thigh almost every week, because it is much more cheaper... normally i will take out the bone, hehe... if the whole drumstick, hard to cook ma.

The frequent way i cook is take out the bone and cut it into cube, then marinate with soy sauce and sugar, so that it will taste a bit sweet, then just stir fry it lo... i used teriyaki soy sauce, so it taste quite nice.

Hehe... Lazy people will find easy way to cook, like me lo...

Wah, ning you still have time cook your dishes... when i go back this weekend, i also want to buy some chip potato, ginger, and red bean back to hostel cook as our lunch and dinner.. because some time we dunno wanna eat what, all the food in cafe already boring because everyday they cook same food, so we decide want to cook by myself.. another reason is we lazy go down buy food when we didnt have class and the cafe far away from my room..haha...

tell you all a something, mum want buy a external hard disk to save movie...she want around 80G to 160G.. any suggestion?

My Recipe!

This is something i cooked today! Dun judge it by it's appearance, it tasted great!
OK i will explain what it actually is. The vege is obviously cabbage+carrot. A quarter cabbage can last a week i would say. Wakakakaka damn jimat. Dang Dang Dang Dang the main course is of course the pork! I bought 2 pieces of it at 2.40AUD! Wanna know how i cooked it? Well *ehem* firstly i marinated it with some curry powder, then before i fried it i dipped it with egg. Brilliant le??I just simply create it myself and it turned out fine. I would not say great as it was a bit overcooked. And then i just fry the remaining egg. The whole process only took me 20 minutes.

I am gonna cook chicken leg wednesday. Any recipe? I have soy sauce, tomyam paste, pepper and of course the curry powder.

*my mistake, it's 100 times, not 300. If it is 300 i will go and apply job as fire rescue~wakakakaka

Oh, then means that fire alarm will rang almost everyday lo.... Hahaha...

I also got sth to share....
When i was in US, same thing happened. The fire alarm will rang a few times in one month. The cause most probably would be somebody overcooked la, smoking in the room la, or may be they burn sth inside their unit...

For the first few time, i am quite scared la, fire alarm rang and all the residences evacuate, but nobody bring along anything one... i was thinking if there was fire, then must bring along sth when evacuate ma, but i found out that all ppl just walk down to the apartment, and very relaxing le... Most of the time KS was at office. For the first time, i walked down lo, the fire engine arrived in just a few minutes after the alarm start. Then after that, i just stayed inside the apartment every time the alarm rang... hehe... Got experience liao ma.

There was one time the firemen could not find out the cause, so the alarm rang for quite long time. I still remember that day actually i was having my dinner. Me and KS were in the dilemma whether want to go down or not... Haha... But anyhow at last we went down also.

So basically i think their apartment is very 'well equip', and the firemen are also very 'efficient'.
And we also very busy one, cause need to 'evacuate' quite frequent... Hahaha...
