This place now is a ski heaven where metres of snow covered the surface. My friend invited me to go for a ski trip but i am reluctant to spend 200+ in a thing i'm not interested in. Instead, i bought a ticket from Canberra to Perth. It's confirmed i am going to Perth at the end of the year! Finally i will be the postcard sender instead of postcard receiver haha!

Sigh i miss my friend. Not that my friends here are not good enough, just that it is hard to find someone with same taste and preference in everything music movie food etc. Uni life is not as carefree as before and i tend to think too much about a person.

So according to my lecturer busn3001 is one of the hardest course in accounting major. Anyway i'm gonna try my best la. My friend from shenzhen came back today and brought me some little present. Of course not the thing above. Ohh i'm exhausted today gonna sleep now.

I checked my BUSN3001 Accounting Theory course outline last night and nearly fell off my chair. So according to the course outline i am suppose to get 40% out of 60% of finals to pass the course, not to mention having to submit all 2 assignments. I know getting 40% is reasonable, especially for a scholar, but the problem is this course is nothing like the courses i previously had. They are no prescribed textbook, only a long but not exhaustive reading list with every article average 30 pages. The lecturer of the course taught BUSN1002 which i took the course last year, and he is kinda crappy, maybe because he is malaysian. Hah. Being in this top university in the world for 1.5 years i kinda expected this kind of course will come to me some time later in my 3rd year but definitely not this soon! The fact is, the last 1.5 years of me in the ANU i was pretty reliance on textbook and lecture notes. Now the time has arrived for me to truly study the subject by myself to develop understanding to the issues and concepts, and to establish my own perspectives to contemporary accounting issues, so to speak. Sigh. And I am taking macroeconomics 2 too, which means extra reading reading and reading. The other 2 subjects are ok, Management accounting and accounting information system. So i have no intention to work part time at all.

Ok enough. I am going back study and become a more nerdy scholar.

I miss my mug.

Holiday

2 days before uni begins. Holiday is good at this point, went out every single day except weekend. Not much photos taken, so much foods eaten. I got to explore places around canberra and met new people.

Went to this award-winning place called old bus depot market. They sell all sorts of things like kinda like pasar malam. And some are hand-made stuffs i definitely like this place.

The closest laksa i can get here. They called it Laos laksa. Now you know they have laksa in Laos.

And also my 1st time to Telstra Tower at black mountain. Like Alor Setar Tower but we climbed up the mountain. See i exercise so mush during winter.

This is called the international flag display.


War memorial. They displayed Australia's participation in WW1 and WW2. Great place for history lover as it is interactive and informative and the building is magnificent.

I found that my instax camera is not really suitable for outdoor shooting under strong sunlight although i already adjusted it to the designed setting. Nevertheless, it works perfect indoor.

And i am starting to appreciate the cold weather. Last year's winter was like shit for me and it was especially cold and dry compared to another city. However this year my body is already get used to it and i kinda enjoyed it. I am easily adapted to the environment i guess. Not only the weather, but also the tranquility of the city. I never regret for choosing this city and i love being the person i am. I am happy.
